Lover's Rock
by Franky2005

Home ;-)

It was just too hard to find a rock that looked interesting outside. Thus I tried this little homework.

Very nicely done, and nice sentiment as well! Helen

Thanks for your comments. I found this little rock on the shore of the baltic sea last summer. Of course gave it to my wife :-) , who glued it on the bigger, not to loose it. There it is now and I could take some time Saturday night for the shot.

BTW the source of the light is an indirect flash to a white wall. So the lilght comes from the side and allows the structure of the sand and rock turns out quite well. I also played with a black and white version which did not work.

Cheers,
Frank

I love this image!! Great job, wonderful composition and a heart shape rock....amazing. The detail is so sharp, you can see every grain of sand. Nicely done.

Frank, I know what you mean about finding an interesting rock but I like your homework here. That heart shaped rock in the center is pretty cool; it's not easy to find a rock like that. You really got good focus here too. Nice entry!
