Very striking composition, I also like the blurred background, Helen

Stefan, just wanted to say that I like your frame change; much improved.

I do prefer the color one. Interesting shot for its composition.
* My only complaint is about the out of focus center bottom rock and the brushwood. For me, they are distracting. In fact, if you could reshot this picture by framing it a little bit higher (to hide the distracting objects), and maybe by rotating it at left, in order to follow the rule of thirds.

I tried it out and I completely agree, so I replaced it. Thanks for the advice.

Stefan, I like this shot. I think the addition of the leaf and crossed twigs add interest to the image. As for color or B&W, they're both very nice but I probably would go with the color. * I'm not sure about the bright white frame however, to me it tends to be a bit distracting. You might try reversing it; a black frame with a very small white inner stripe. In any case, it's a cool shot!

I like this one. I love the color of the leaf with the rocks and twigs. But then again, I am not a B&W person, so it isn't a fair comparison.
