Patty, I think you did a very good job following thru on the suggestions that were given. I really like this image too...and your view over the railing into this interesting canal-way. Nice overall lighting and exposure here as well. Nice shot. MFC

Patty,
Fine work on editing your original image.

Patty, I like your scene and composition. But it would be good to try to correct the distortion. I agree with Gaurav, try select all, then Edit>Transform>Distort. With that you can pull on the edges of the picture to try to straighten the various elements. I tried playing a bit with it in PS and had some success. Helen

Patty - to make things line up correctly when you straighten the railing, try using the distort tool in PS - it may help you correct the angles that change. ~ gaurav

Hello Roberta,
When I try to make the photo more horizontal (the railing of course) then the water isn't straight anymore. :)

I already photographed it from different angles and I thought this was the best one, but maybe I replace this one. I'm just not happy about it.. It doesn't have 'it'... If you know what I mean...

And for other people, I always appreciate comments!

Patty,
Good exposure and I like the way you have blurred the background. My only suggestion would be to rotate and crop so the railing is a true horizontal. I think a slanted or diagonal railing would also work if you slanted it even more when you took the shot. It's an interesting thing to shoot the same exact subject from a variety of angles (which you may have already tried!).
