Yellowtone NP

A thermal pool at West Thumb in Yellowstone NP, with some add-ins.
Most of these images were taken June 4th, when I took a quick run thru the park.
(Well, except for the dog pictures. She's 'sposed to be masquerading as a wolf, but I'm afraid she still looks like a dog. Maybe I should think of it as a dog dreaming of Yellowstone:). Or perhaps ancestral dreams, yeah...that's the ticket :).)

The colors and textures in this image are incredible. I kind of think the pool would stand on its own, but I do like the added layers of animals. Well done, Melanie. --Nancy

I agree with Danny. This is soooo dreamlike and dog/wolf....who will worry, not me. I love your placement of one image just outside the frame....a nice touch which seems to anchor everything else oddly enough (to my eye!) John

Love this one, just love it. Its a very natural effect you have acheived in this and its very dreamy. We have similar pools here in our geo thermal areas, but this is just so clear.. The heads really work.
