A Short Story
This bird appeared and began throwing himself into my window. He went to every window . It was not a little upsetting but I thought he would not return the next day...But he did and continued for 3 weeks. During this time I opened windows where ever he was. It seemed he was desperate to come it. But he was not interested in that at all and ignored the opening . Finally I captured his image flying right outside the window [just so I would know he was not a ghost]. I almost called envirement canada but didnt. I identified his song which sounded like he was far away even though he was close. When he did finally did leave I still heard his song in the forest, but now there seemed to be someone answering. But many weird things happened during the time he was there..so I know he was a messenger!

Nothing spooky at all. Birds are territorial & can see their reflection in a window from a long way of (good eye sight) They are simply protecting their turf.

Nice shot though.

Wow... spooky story and spooky shot. Love the glow in the background. Really adds to the quality of other worldliness. Neat shot. Ann C

Helen,I dont think normal laws of vulnerability applied to this otherly creature it was nothing short of spooky to the max and I wouldnt have put this up except for the true blur.H e did other things as well like going to the side mirrors[both] of my car. finally I covered my car ith a blanket..no doubt about it..other side stuff!

Magnificent capture; its frantic efforts come across here. I really like the green of the background as well.

Wow... fascinating! I'm surprised he survived throwing himself into your window even for one day, let alone three weeks, but as it seems he was there for a purpose, perhaps I shouldn't be so surprised after all. Helen
