For me, this version is better. The Moon is now a supportive element to the whole picture. You were right: the Moon can not be wiped out like this.

Thank you everybody for your comments. Stephane, I appreciate your comment about the moon; but decided not to remove it, as it's part of the story :). I did change its blending mode however, and hope it fits better with the rest of the image now. I may think of other changes later. Melanie

This is an incredible composition. The elements are so well juxtaposed… I am very impressed. It’s like a LSD hallucination ;) I like your art, your style Melanie.

No * but I will take a chance… IMO, the Moon is more distracting than useful in this picture.

Melanie, an oustanding allegorical piece. I delight in the details of this image; grasses mimic fur, moon reflected in pupil, cat as geography of the moon, etc. The verse and image are really expressive together. -Michael
