very scary - really cool shot! I'm glad he's not alive.

Thanks everybody ! Its actually a preserved tarantula specimen from a lab, but my daughter couldn't help curling her (piggie) toes like that when I asked her to stand closer to the drain. John(ebones)

Love it, John! Don't think I could add anything that hasn't already been mentioned. Keep up the great work!---Deb

Hope he doesn't turn around and sting those feet John. The owner of the feet looks kind of afraid of that I think ;) Great picture

John, a really creative idea...your subjects, the lighting, the angled composition, and the DOF are all very effective. I especially like how both sets of feet emerge from the shadows...adding to the "creepy" way that I'm feeling here. The positioning of the human toes and the way the drain cover is lifted just add to the overall appeal. Interesting, unusual, and well-done. MFC

Please tell me that's a fake spider. My skin is crawling just thinking about it. I do like the way this photo works as a story, though. Good job. - Simon Bennett.
