This is my favorite of your images. The entire composition is incredible, but the light at the end of the tracks is what draws me in each time I view it.---deb

Despite the fall colors, I really did take this shot this spring - the vegetation here (WI) hasn't totally turned green yet, and the stones on the track are actually a little redder, not so orange as they look in the picture.

nice. I'm glad you chose to photo the railway ties that are "out of sorts" rather that go for the "symmetrical" ones...is adds contrast to the idea. great idea

Good choice for a subject, Katherine. I like how the track is mostly filled in with stone/wood to accentuate the two main rails & simplify the composition. Beautiful color tones too. MFC
