Abstract Lighting

(smaller size will result in distorted details)
One livingroom light fixtures
turned into an abstract piece of art.
And for those who asked.....
The light fixture was photographed at close range in macro mode
At this close range, one only sees half the (round) fixture
I then painted the background purple (a nice contrast).
I then copy and pasted the image as a new layer,
then flipped the layer vertically...
leaving the appearance of two objects side by side.
I hope this helps in understanding what I did here?
