Used a strobe with a number 10 grid, instead of a flash light.
Gives a softer shadow.
Shot in color - channel mixed in PS 7.
Hand made back ground with dodge and burn tools in PS 7.

Really an extremely well-crafted image, David! I could easily see this one used for illustrative purposes in books or magazines. You really should consider selling it...it's extremely marketable, and also quite stunning! The lighting and editing techniques you used plus the use of B & W really make this photo stand out in the crowd! ~Nee
