Oops...the cropping is actually not too bad (it's really hard to comment when you can't see the photo you're commenting on!) However, the shadow being cut off at the bottom is a wee bit bothersome. I'd really like to see this one redone with a brighter background color that really pops...like red?! (actually, you could play up the shadow, if you were to go for brighter colors and more contrast -check out Curve's pic of the pear nailed to cupboard.) You have a very good idea, and a fairly nice composition (could stand a bit more cropping in on the subject). You're definitely headed in the right direction...~Nee

I like this idea. I'd go for more light, and a sharper image. Also, less of a shadow might be more effective.
