Thanks for that info & for motivating me to look up this beast. I admit to being surprised at what I learned but also have not seen any other image of a PMOW anywhere close to yours. You sure had the right camera in the right place at the right time!

Thaknk for the kind message. As a matter of fact a Portuguee man of war is not exactly a Jelly fish althouh many people think it is. This one is a particular beautiful. I managed to shoot it while crissong the atlantic on a sailboat last spring.

What is that!? I thought a Portuguese Man of War was a jellyfish. This looks like a Jules Verne vessel. Whatever it is it's amazing & beautiful.
