10th (tie): The Guardian

This is my next-door neighbor's dog who is the bane of my existence. Even after being back in the States for two years now, he goes crazy barking every time I set foot on our deck. He also thinks the best spot to guard the property is from this window ledge, and one time I caught him.

That is a beautiful photo. You need to carry treats with you for when you see him. His owners can tell you what he likes. (It probably won't work though).

Great shot of a beautiful animal Helen! I think it's a Pomeranian; they love to bark (which makes them excellent watchdogs). I love the similarity of color between the dog and the building and your focus and composition is just perfect.
