Denali National Park, Alaska

My brother-in-law, Eddie Fisher, and I took a trip to Denali August 29 and 30 and had a blast! We took the bus to Wonder Lake. We didn't see a tremendous number of animals, but the quality was good and the scenery was spectacular.

THEN we got lucky and obtained a road lottery to drive the park in our car (virtually all other access except for 4 days of road lottery is by tour bus) on Saturday, September 16. Nice work, we are planning a trip to AK in Sept, in fact we are planning to stay overnite at the Eagle Motel. Any suggestions that would help us in our quest for wildlife would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice gallery and photos. I was there with my brother Sept 11 of this year. Lucky you got the pass. We just go for a day trip since we live in North Pole, only been past Savage River once. Had a great time seeing all kinds of big game, but didnt have the big lens that I do now. Voted. We were lucky enough last week to see a wolf on the main road.
