Protosphyraena was neither swordfish nor barracuda. This fearsome predator terrorized the seas of the Upper Cretaceous, wielding a lance-like rostrum, dagger-shaped teeth and a pair of serrated pectoral fins capable of inflicting terrible lacerations upon enemies' flesh.
