Monse, WA Town For Sale

One of the few residents of the now nearly deserted ghost town of Monse, WA,
Katter (pronounced Kay-tor) has spent the last three years making the old
post office into a livable space for himself. The entire town, consisting of a general
store, an old school, the post office, and I believe an old church are now up for sale.
It would be a sad day to see Katter displaced in the name of progress. I'm hoping against
all hope that whoever purchases this quaint little bit of real estate would find it in their
heart to find a place for Katter as well.

Terri ~ Your pictures speak volumes not only of this delightful man, but also about your vision. I kept wanting more words with the pictures, but kept thinking that it might be hard to find a stopping place! I want to go visit and know all of the story. Superb gallery - thoroughly enjoyed "meeting" this character and I think the gallery sits together very nicely in terms of the balance of photos of Katter, buildings and smaller details.

Monse is a grand tribute to your day in Katter's grand life. Your photos show respect, time, tradition, compostition, presentation and a glimpse of a short chapter into an elder's deeply detailed life story that leaves me wanting to hear and see more!!
