Collected August 11th as a first instar caterpillar near grape along Causeway rd, Medfield MA. This individual changed from bright green to olive brown in the early days of its fifth instar.

Just found one in Ware, MA on 9-3-2024. Never seen a caterpillar this size. Must be as big as a hummingbird when it changes over to a butterfly.
