Collected from Highbush Blueberry flowers and fruit on May 14th as a 2nd instar larva. Ponkapoag Bog area Canton MA. These small caterpillars were taken alongside larger Satyrium liparops (Banded Hairstreak), they were not only on the same plant but also the same inflorescences. Both the Satyrium and the Celastrina were almost entirely limited to only two large plants in the area.
