I found this guy crawling over some drying brush at Tangerini's farm in Millis MA, 10/8/2008. The similarity of this cutworm to a sulpher caterpillar is notable - at least in basic coloration. Given that they feed upon the same host plant, I assume some form of mimicry is taking place. Cool.
