Some photos from the Jeep Jamboree in Crandon WI. My son and I went to. September 9 -11-05.
Went on two trails with our 05 Rubicon Unlimited Sahara. The "Inner Circle" trail the first day, which was a great starter trail. The second day we went on "Frayed & Barney" which was just an incredible trail that will test your nerves at high angle climbs and descents along with off chamber 4 wheeling. You must pay attention to the guides on Frayed & Barney.
Only damage to the jeep from 2 days of hard trails through the Nicolet National forest was a dented tail pipe tip, small ding in the gas pan skid plate and the drivers side "step -up" which will need to be replaced. (it came down on top of a stump). Lots of scratches on the skid plates, especially the steering box plate.
The Jeep Jamboree trail guides were just fantastic! I highly recommend these events to anyone driving a Jeep.
I had to pull one of the KJ's out twice, but in all honesty he had street tires on. I think if he would of had some tires with some decent off road tread on them he would of never needed to be pulled. I was honestly surprised on how much the KJ's went through being that all but one was in stock form. I had a blast pulling the trucks out, the Rubicon Unlimited barely spun a tire :)
