This is the first in a series of three photos of the
wonderfully tortuous celery root. They represent my
early efforts in learning how to use the Nikon D40,
together with the 18-55mm kit lens, for macro work.
All three were taken using a tripod, but the first
two are available light while the third was with a flash.
