Much of the time Canada Geese do waddle instead of fly.
Perhaps because they're so big, it wastes energy to take
off for short distances. Or perhaps because they travel
in such large flocks, it's a bother to avoid bumping into
each other. Whatever the reason, where geese have gone and
the earth is soft, there are always thousands of these
comical tracks.
