Not to worry; everything I do is experimental...for me, anyhow. I learn as much from the near misses as the hits.
And I always appreciate the comments.

PM: For me, this "almost" works, and it's a shot I have tried several times on azaleas and rhodies. I tend to think such compositions need to have the rim of bright light contrasting with much deeper shadows while retaining the impression of low-angle sun. I would like to try playing with selective shadowing on it in PS if you don't mind ... Brian
