M42 Orion Nebula

Anza, CA

M42 the Orion nebula is the large gas cloud, M43 is the small apostrophe shaped dust cloud and NGC 1977 also known as the Running Man Nebula is the bluish gas cloud. Taken with a modified digital rebel through an Orion 80mmED with a Williams Optics 0.8x flattener/reducer. This is 10 x 8min ISO 200 exposure with 5 x 60second ISO200 exposures combined in ImagesPlus. MinMax excluded combine was used along with 4 passes of R/L restoration. Mount was a Losmandy G-11 guided by a Meade DSI on a Borg 77mm scope using MaxDSLR software to guide the DSI. Intermittent high thing clouds disturbed a lot of the shots and reduced the amount of usable images.
