Before stevie "matured" she used to carry around tennis balls, but
she didn't play with them as normal dogs do. She chewed them rhythmically.
She wouldn't touch a tennis ball unless I sliced a two inch slit in it which would
enable it to crush with the pressure of her teeth.

She's a quirky little girl.

My dogs go through phases for what they're interested in. Sometimes it's balls, or squeeky toys, but mostly it's just tug-o-war with a lease. We go through a lot of leashes. ;)
