RIP

I saw tilly's owner over the weekend who told me sadly that
Tilly had become quite ill suddenly and had to be put to sleep.
It always breaks my heart when any dog
comes to the end of their life and has to be parted from their human. Tilly
is no exception. Tilly was one of the first dogs I met when I began walking
in the park with my dogs. I was always fond of her and her cranky demeanor

Tilly and my dog Stevie mirrored each other with their quirky temperaments
and so were enemies from way back. They had one doozy of a teeth baring, nasty sounding
fight several years ago and after that they kept a wide berth
from of other. As both dogs got on in years they mellowed a bit. While they never
became friends, they seemed to have made peace with each other.
