Steve are you the Steve Bloomfield from Great Neck who taught me to juggle when I was 9 and had a broken leg? Looking to trace a contact for Mildred who worked for your family. Part of something I am writing.
Warm wishes,

Hello,

I viewed your photographs (and captions) at www.pbase.com --- smbloom/image --- 3972828 (and others at the same webpage).

If you receive this email and, if you're willing to answer a few questions about Two Medicine Pass at Glacier, I would really like the opportunity to discuss some concerns which I have.

I live out in Massachusetts, about 35 minutes north of Boston. I have received campsite assignments this August 11-13, 2011, for Park Creek, Upper Park Creek and Cobalt Lake (traversing Two Medicine Pass).

Your postings are causing me concerns about whether Two Medicine Pass is within my ability.

Best,
David L. McLellan

Hi Steve - Thank you so much for the detailed Wonderland trip description. My husband and I are planning to take our first stab at it this summer, and we've found your posting very helpful for our planning. Thanks again for taking the time & trouble to share your experiences with us newbies!

I could use your insight concerning the Tetons. I am looking at doing a two-nighter in September while my wife attends a conference in Jackson. My initial route was the Paintbrush the Death Canyon loop that you chronicle on your website. I am looking at doing this solo in three full days and two nights. I am a fairly seasoned backpacker but an East Coast guy. Is this reasonable or should I shift to Cascade/Death Canyon to make it more comfortable? Thanks for the insight from someone that did it recently. Thanks for your pictures. They are great. I came across the sight by simply entering paintbrush, cascade Teton (as that was my route) and I found exactly what I hoped for. Happy New Year. Mark

Steve,
Agree with everyone. Pictures are super! Planning on a week in mid Sept this year with my son. Can't wait.

Steve, I enjoy your pictures of Harrison Pass. They're awesome. This July I'm leading a Sierra Trek of 16 to 18 year old Boy Scouts from Kings Canyon Roads End out thru Whitney Portal. I'm considering taking Harrison Pass instead of Forester. Is it doable? What are your thoughts? Thanks...

Hey, Steve and Carol,

Thanks for sharing the great pictures. Only in America can Yosemite be rivalled by the "Big 40"! Are all of those boats on your friend's lake?

Please take lots of photos of Sequoia this fall.

Unfortunately, last week, we found out our son will be having two different foot surgeries in June. Not a great prerequisite for the cable ladder.

I'm scrambling for something short in August...maybe the Tetons or Vancouver.

Have a wonderful summer.

Happy flossing, Brenda

Steve, your photos of NW Yellowstone are excellent. I am planning a trip through that same area for early
September, 2003. Could use some first hand information from you if you'd be kind enough to email me.

Hey, I really enjoyed all your Yellowstone shots! I worked there briefly for a month, cleaning cabins at the Lake Hotel...I had to leave for personal reasons, and I miss it so much...thanks for the shots! Yellowstone is like a second home to me!
