Very Married, actually, I got sunburned when Bill and I were out photographing a bike race. . . .but then I went for a bike ride later that afternoon and I am sure that added to the color. Guess I better wear more sunscreen next time! Wanda

Most of the light is ambient from surrounding windows. Which is why the 800 ISO and 1/6 second shutter time. I did add a little fill flash in front of Wanda. The speed light was on a stand with umbrella to my left. Again I added a flash near the fireplace to light the mantel to give some added contrast to that area. The combination of lighting and a somewhat narrow depth of field is what gives the soft look to the photo.

Yes, I see and wonder at Wanda, but a technical query. How did you get the soft light and soft focus? Post production or other magic?

Dear Bill & Wanda, first off another great shot, you to are simply a special pieve of Magic together. Secondly The pics of the new home are great ( I do a lot of remodeling for side work, so yes, I actually do look at the surroundings, not just Wanda looking simply fantasic.
