Wanda On The Bunkhouse Wall 07_04_06.jpg

This was just a little fun up near the cattle loading pens. I'm not sure how old this corral is, but I'm sure it has been in use for many years. I thought it would make a great location for something with an Old West look.

I kind of felt like creating an image that looked like an old faded print; something that might have been hanging on the bunkhouse wall.

A couple more shots from today.

Spent alot of time in a bunkhouse, and never had the pleasure of someone so beautiful in my bunkhouse! Great shot!

I can see you on "DEADWOOD". Can you say !?@#$* and grunt with a straight face?

Wanda,
Ahh yes, I see what you mean by the hat after looking at the other photo, point taken.
Cheers Jeff

Psssst....Bill.....threaten her with the hat...you can get her back to the pond!!

Jeff,

I couldn't help but notice your suggestion about the hat. If you saw that hat in the flesh you would understand why I wasn't wearing it! It is sooooooo disgusting! That is Bill's hat and HE can wear it! That nasty, dirty, sweat and grime covered thing aint going on MY head! (cringe) It makes a great prop and I think I'd rather go back in the slimey pond than put that on My head. (grin)

The .45-70 rounds are for the Sharps just out side the frame ;^)

The 73 Winchester shoots .45 Colt just like the revolver in the holster.

I was noticing the rounds, 45-70 for the rifle?.

G'day Bill and Wanda,I like the treatment you have given to this setting but would like to make 2 points.
1.Although it suits the photo and setting,it seems to have aged Wanda's face somewhat and we all know how young & beautiful Wanda is!
2.Perhaps the hat could have played a bigger role in the picture, either Wanda wearing it or holding it,rather than hugging the side of of the frame.
As always I think your photography is outstanding.
Jeff, cheers.

Nicely done....I like the muted, pastel tones. It would have REALLY been funny if she had been holding a stringer of trout *grin*. Hope you both had a great 4th.

You achieved your goal well Bill. This looks like a "real" old photo. Good job.

My favorite James Coburn line from a movie and I can't remember which movie but I remember the line... "It is was just assault with a friendly weapon"

Keep your eye open for James Coburn with a knife!

I am not sure if you look more dangerous with your six-gun or as Eve. I guess Eve gets my vote...LOL. Nice job on this one again, Bill. And a happy 4th to you both.
