Looking back at this picture makes Me long for hot summer days! I am so miffed though, the sandals I am wearing in this picture were My absolute favorites but they fell apart after a few summers of working in the yard. I tried to find some more that were as comfy as these ones but no such luck! (pout)

I was just going to post on this to say I like it best too. It shows not just what you look like, but what you're like! Maybe an idea for the next 'quarter'? Great gallery...

Ok, so I have decided that I like this picture of Me the most! While it's not the most flattering picture of Me, I think it accurately represents the "everyday" ME! Funloving and young at heart and not a bit concerned about what anyone else thought of Me as I buzzed around the parking lot on the back of that cart! oh, and just so you know, it's a little known fact that the cart will roll farther and faster if you squeal "WEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

JY, I would say that the Canon 10D has a pretty steep learning curve if your only photography experience is just a point and shoot digital. With some study...a good photography class and lots of reading books...you may turn out some very good results. I would also say that with a Digital SLR like I normally use you may also want to do some study on Photoshop. The 10D and other cameras like it do a lot less in camera processing and leave that up to the photographer to do post process.

Also, remember there is much more to photography than just the camera. It is just a tool.

I hope you don't mind entertaining an amateur question here. This picture has made me curious. This Canon p&s is the same camera I use and my pictures come out about the same as this one. If I had a better camera, like the one you normally use - how steep is the learning curve to get pictures as nice as yours? ie, would my pictures be instantly better or would I have to do a lot of work to get pictures like yours. (I think your pictures are inspiring me to get more into photography!)

There she goes, riding the Wally World Express... Good thing she didnt have to stop quick, she would be right in there with the beer.....hey....theres an idea...lol

Seems lately I'm only drinking half the beer I buy. So thought maybe I would try something really cheap ($12.98 for a 30 pack) and see if anyone minds or notices.

Keystone Light, whats up with that?

Eric, I will give it an "OK" for what it is. This is my mother's camera. For what she does it is great. It is very simple to run, takes a decent picture and it is very small(about the same as an American pack of cigarettes). It is small enough to toss in your pocket or purse.

Images are a little noise; but, not horrible if your only doing web things and making small prints. I just wish it had more manual overrides. More often than not I would rather select how the camera exposes a picture.

Fun picture Bill & Wanda. How are you liking the p&s? I'm always looking for first hand info to offer when people ask me which camera they should buy (non-dslr).
