Today Timber made a perfect and solid 30 second point on a ruffed grouse. It flushed into a nearby tree and was willing to pose for a couple of photos with the point and shoot.

Too bad Bill doesn't haul his fancy camera gear with him when we are out on our "conditioning hikes", cuz if he did, he could have captured a better shot than what we got with my little camera. Oh well, at least we had a camera with us to document the moment! Wanda
