Wanda Water Goddess 2 03_06_10.jpg

We've been looking at these old steps in the creek by our home for a few years. They just cried out for some sort of image.

So here we have Mother Nature as the Water Goddess blessing the life giving water that will nurture the desert.

The exposure was choosen to give the water a slightly smooth feeling but not to smooth.

Bill, I am assuming you did something because the feet look a lot better now. - jv

Wanda seems to be a little concerned that the jug doesn't hold enough water for the whole desert ...

The rapids are great, was that deliberate or was the water just too fast for the exposure time?

I'm not sure that full colour is going to be better, perhaps colour with a tendency towards sepia?

You are welcome John,
while the make shift toga is not exactly a pair of "ruffled shorts", it's the best I could do.

This might be a favorite of the MN series.

Steve, there is about a 10" hem in th material so from about mid calf down the material is double thickness. I'll see if I can do something.

Bill, Something looks a little off with the feet. From the shin down the "toga" is no longer sheer (that could just be an extra fold) and Wanda's left foot appears to be a double exposure with one image completely within the garment. I do like the feel of the image and it fits well with the series. As always - excellent work.
