Wanda by the creek 12_20_09.jpg

Wanda and I like to take walks along the creek that runs near our home. We can walk five minutes from our house and be in the wilderness. While on our walks we often see deer, turkeys and other wildlife. During the winter months we even get to see some elk.

Bill,
It's Christmas, where is our present? We've been good all year!!!

The one thing that I don't like about Winter is that Wanda has to wear too many clothes :-) We have a small stream that runs through our property, but it isn't as picturesque as that one. Maybe it's because Wanda doesn't sit next to it. As for the deer, you can have them. We've lived in our house for 22 years and there hasn't been a day that's gone bye where they haven't been in my yard. Which is why the trees on our wooded lot are always trimmed to deer level height, and we can only grow "deer proof" landscaping. Not to mention the $5000 in damage to 2 cars when deer have run into the side of them in our neighborhood.

As always "Classy". A perfect setting, a perfect smile from a classy looking lady!

No wonder, the snow melted! :) Wander-ful Wanda strikes again. Ole'

Great shot, you are real lucky because I have to drive about 10 minutes to get to the closest stream and it is dead most of the time. The most I get to see are an occasional squirrel or small bird, too many housing developments in the area. Enjoy your pictures a lot especially when Wanda makes an appearance. You make a great couple that compliments each other. Happy Holidays.
