These film-based images were taken between 1985 and 2002 during various sailing trips and while exploring the Chesapeake Bay and the Virginia Atlantic coast.

The Chesapeake Bay log canoe images (frames 7, 8, and 9) were originally published in Soundings magazine as part of a photo story I did on those venerable old native boats.
