Both Herring Gull and Caspian Gull show an increase in numbers and range in Belarus with Herring Gull expanding their breeding range inland from the northwest and Caspian Gull inland from the southeast. Although not labeled as Caspian Gull, this bird show all characteristics of that species and must be considered a pure cachinnans.
