1975 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 L - Chassis 0050005 (Kremer) Jagermeister

This Porsche RSR chassis was manufactured as an original chassis from the Porsche factory. It was delivered in late 1974 to Kremer Porsche in Koln, Germany. Kremer numbered this chassis as 005 (year 1975) and car No. 5 (0005) to make the chassis number 0050005. At the time, Kremer had two 1974 Sampson RSRs, a 1975 RSR Vaillant, and a 1975 RSR Wallys Jeans (#0050004).

After receiving the RSR chassis from the Porsche Factory, Kremer built up the remainder as a race car built to his specifications for the 1975 European DRM season.

In 1975, the Kremer team competed with 3 Porsche RSRs – one factory built car (the Vaillant car chassis#9115609117), and two Kremer built RSRs – Wallys Jeans (chassis0050004) driven by Cees Sievertsen and Jagermeister (chassis 0050005) driven by Helmut Kelleners.

During the 1975 season, Erwin Kremer had Helmut Kelleners team up with other top drivers for Endurance Races. Hans Heyer and Kelleners first paired up in the Monza 1000km on April 20, 1975, but DNF’d. On June 1, 1975, Kelleners paired up with both Hans Heyer and Bob Wollek with together they won their class at the Nurburgring 1000km and also took 8th overall! Also, Hans Heyer, the overall 1975 European championship winner, drove 0050005 solo to take 2nd place in the Nurburgring Supersprint on Sept 7, 1975.

Helmut Kelleners was an experienced race car driver himself and previously drove Porsche 917s, BMW, etc….and was involved in LeMans with Steve McQueen.
