Around this whole property, every other fence post had a boot on it.
It was difficult to get a photo as I would have to cross a deep
wet ditch.

Interesting decoration for a fence! Maybe they were left by all the people who tried to cross the ditch.

as good a place as any for worn out boots...at least they offer bigger landing spots for local birds, and speak too of local identity..
