Most every Thursday evening, at the southeast corner of Orange Grove and Thornydale Roads, here in Tucson, there is a "Cruise In", sponsored by Freddie's Steakburger. There is no fee and no prizes are given out, but everyone that brings a vehicle gets two coupons for free ice cream at Freddie's.Many thanks to Jason and Dave for getting this organized. It had its origins as the Saturday Night Hang Out at the dairy Queen at Ina and Thornydale. There are typically between 70 and 120 cars, trucks and even some bikes that show up. Sometimes the evening sunset lighting works well, and sometimes it makes things a bit challenging- I never know what I really have until I get done "playing".This Gallery will expand as I attend more of Thursday "shows".
