Hi Charles -- It was wonderful to see you and some of your sisters and one of your nieces. Your parents would be proud. You all look wonderful. On Sunday, Bob (the youngest Donaghy) and his wife, Theresa, came to the Monk Tribute, so all six (plus Theresa and Joe's, wife, Mary) of us were back in the neighborhood. We even got to go into 216 W. 64 St. and took a photo of all 6 in front of 2E. I even sat on the stoop for old time's sake, and no one told me to get down :)

The Donaghys were my nieghbors for as long as they lived in Amsterdam projects (216 W 64 st)and I was expecting to see them as Rita and I were in contact for some time. I have to say that actually seeing them in the flesh was a joy I can not measure. The first thing I said to Mary was about her Ace of Spades milk crate scooter and we laughed. Jack was just as I last saw him, but with a mustache. Rita with the piercing eyes, she would always see everything. What a joy, what a joy.
