I wasn't planning on going to Chesterman Beach at night but there was a break in the clouds and the moon was out. The beach was deserted and faintly bathed in moonlight, and it was eerily beautiful.
This was my first attempt at a very long exposure with the F30 (as long as the camera will allow, which is 15 seconds). Normally I use ISO 100 for night shots but it resulted in a very dark image, even with a 15 second shutter speed. Even with ISO 400 I still had to play around with curves in Paint Shop Pro to get the image that you see here.
