This image was stolen from my website, painted without my permission and Heidi Knutson was selling it
for $900 on her website. The original page on the website said "Not For Sale". When a colleague of
mine contacted Heidi querying this particular painting, she said that she had given this painting to
her sister in law but "I would be open to do one for you also to sell..."($900.00),
proving she was ready, able and willing to sell my copyrighted work and profit from it.
EDIT: We have now discovered that this image has been painted twice. Heartbreaking.

HEIDIK: All evidence will be presented to a Federal court in this matter, and a judge will decide if you were offering this, or a copy, for sale. You offering other stolen images for sale on your website confirms your intent to gain financially from the stolen works of others. That shall be taken into account. Your messages to others when they enquired about this will also be offered as evidence. Govern yourself accordingly.

JG: You have just compounded her case, to her detriment. I would suggest you advise her to consult a REAL copyright lawyer so he can advise her as what her rights are, and are not. You are only weakening her case, not bolstering it.

HEIDI KNUTSON: I have repeatedly told you to get in touch regarding Settlement. You have refused, you have continually ignored my requests. I can do no more. You refuse to answer the phone. You refuse to answer email requests. I am ready, willing, and able to hand over copies of all documents and evidence to the authorities who govern copyright infringement. I cannot be held responsible for what happens in your future. You were offered more than fair Terms of Settlement and you answered with a very arrogant attitude. That was your choice, not mine. All correspondence will be handed over to the RCMP. Heidi, you do know now that they are involved in this matter. Govern yourself accordingly.

Heidi Knutson has never, to date, apologized for taking an image that did not belong to her, painting it and selling it. She, however, HAS expressed regret at getting caught. There is a large difference. I would highly advise you, since you seem to know her so personally, to get in touch as this is only going to grow larger as we discover the full scope of her deceit and theft. My message to her again: govern yourself accordingly.

You have completley taken my friend Heidi's apology for painting your picture of swans, and lied about it. Not only has she apologized many times over, but do you realize she only has learned never to paint without permission, but has had her name completely been smeatred? Her character is nothing like you've accused her of, and it's about time someone stood up for her! You probably don't even know that 1 year ago before she posted that painting, it has been totally modified to her sister's taste. Yes, there has been a male swan added, as I recall, also more feathers to the baby swan, a moon and waterdfall has been added to the background. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINAL AT ALL!!! Yes she posted it the original way, because she preferred to show it that way as a compliment to your photo. But I'm assuming she didn't tell you about it. Haven't you hurt her enough? You are the manipulator, not her! She never gave in to that person's request. I know...I was there while she received the email. Now what have you done? You Sandra should owe her an apology on your website, if you are to do the right thing. JG

Sandra I NEVER told a college of yours I would sell this painting at all!!!! I knew someome was trying to tempt me..I was fully aware, and told him "NO I would not sell it " NEVER would I fall for that trap...No wonder people are mad at me, They think I would actually sell it????? Now I know why all the hate mail. That $900.00 was strictly for what I would charge for a Canvas that size. THAT ALL!!! NOT the actual apinting or anything similar to your swans. Can you understand now? HK
