Winnie the Pooh movie is fun

If I tell you that this image was taken with just the illumination of a big plasma screen TV in our completely pitch black living room, you might think that it was big time post-processed.
In fact, hardly any post-processing was done to this image. This is a test image to show that the Canon 35mm f/1.4 L together with the Canon 5D can work magic.
At f/1.4 and ISO 1600, the photo appears to be a window light lit image taken on a sunny day.
My wife, Josephine, was enjoying the Winnie the Pooh movie on BD.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM
1/50s f/1.4 at 35.0mm iso1600 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

The lighting is incredible for a dark room only lit from the television. I guess the new lens has many plus points, Simon!BV

The gear is obviously very capable in low light and a fine result was obtained. Well done .... of course you didn't mention that there was a picture of star going supernova on the telly at the time. :o)

Very nice set-up indeed, Simon. I like how Josephine is engrossed in the movie, almost oblivious to the photographer.
