Love in the snow

Dedicated to all those who have to brave the cold in their daily living.


Tech note:

I spent almost 2 hours and 50 shots to get this shot the way I wanted. Last night I envisioned the image I liked to create. Then I determined what focal length I needed for the right perspective. I made the arrangement based on aesthetic and technical merits. I shot manual exposure so that I can concentrate on focusing, pov and composition. Due to the nature of the composition, a few degrees change of pov caused a huge change of the impact of the image. I had to shoot a few shots, got back to the house, view the images on the monitor, realized my faults, went back out to re-arrange the subjects or change the pov, took a few shots and repeat the process. I learned that dedication and perseverance pays.
