La Boca, Buenos Aires

Under the transporter of previous image, from one bank to the other, a man, like a modern Charon, takes people for a coin..
from La Boca to the province.. crossing that brook, called el Riachuelo..
He doesn’t transport deads as Charon did.. but a so deep tango, that talks about Riachuelo,
names other spirits there, just lying at its waters..

Gloomy anchorage where stay immersed
ships that will rest forever at the docks...
shadows growing bigger in the night of pain...
shipwrecked from the world that have lost the heart...
Bridges and ropes where the wind comes to howl...
coal carriers which will never weigh anchor...
Grim cemetery of boats which, while dying...
keep dreaming that they sail into the sea...

Jolie composition. Le pêcheur à l'air bien petit face à son environnement. C'est excellent.

There's a very special atmosphere in this photo.
Industry and cold steel, but also a peaceful and quiet mood.
The colours and reflections are wonderful.
The humans and the little ferry, adds the story and fullfill the atmosphere. V

Le contraste entre le petit bateau du passeur et l'immesnsité des armatures métalliques ainsi que celui du cargo est saisissant. La couleur gris bleuté renforce cette impression étrange. C'est une image avec beaucoup de caractère.

This cold blue note is like a pause, a break in the harmony of colours of the gallery, but it has also its peculiar role and it suggests to us a different perspective, a different way to approach the story your tangos are telling us.

beneath the skeletal bridge you have found a scene of the persistence of life...and also captured the undulating path of El Riachuelo through your pov...a fascinating addition to the tale of La Boca...this is a great gallery of images Silvia

Es curioso la tranquilidad que transmite esta imagen a pesar de lo ajetreado que debe de ser éste puerto. Fenomenal captura. -V-
