La Boca, Buenos Aires

i came in, yes..
when i was walking along a corridor, full of plants and colours,
I heard a melody and I found a shadow… ..
it took my hand, made me sit at an old chair
and began to whisper some words.. it had written them for its beloved…

It caresses my dream
the smooth murmur of your sighing.
How life laughs
if your black eyes want to look at me.
And if it is mine the shelter
of your slight laughter
that is like singing,
it calms my wound,
everything is forgotten.

La puerta es la boca de la casa. Las casas de La Boca dicen el cuento de los imigrantes y del tango.

Maybe my favorite in this fine gallery, for the sense of being confined. Lovely. zM

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And added meaning because of the half-opened gate. V

The half open gate is what strikes me here, it’s a way to suggest the escape and the return, it’s what made this beautiful photo perfect…

many souls must have passed through this welcoming corridor, returning home to the sighs and laughter of their loved ones
