La Boca, Buenos Aires

They found a new home, but also poorness, hunger... They lived at precarious houses, made with metal sheets and wood.
The pain of uprooting was hidden in their strong, intense colours..
Inside these houses, along the streets, watching the brown waters of the river, it was created a new music: the tango..
