The budda is housed in a replica of a famous Japanese temple in Uji, Japan near Kyoto. The replica of this temple is called the Byodo-in Temple (Temple Valley) in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The budda is the largest budda carved in 900 years. It stands 18 feet tall. The famous Japanese sculptor, Masazo Inui carved it. Can you sense the quietness and smell the incense burning?
