A Grease explosion. Demonstration of the fire-brigade at the 700th anniversary of a suburb in Hamburg, Germany.
The demonstration shows visitors what would happen, if water is poured into boiling grease or oil.
The settlement "Borstelde" was incorporated into the State of Hamburg, Germany, in the year of 1304. The former settlement with a handful of settlers has become a suburb of about ten thousand inhabitants in between and is named Klein Borstel now.
