My wife and I live in the very south of Germany, just beneath the border
to France (and Switzerland). The landscape there, called the "Elsass", is
a conglomerate of very lovely vine yards, very old villages (up to the
10th century) and rough and wild mountain forrests. This summer we spent
nearly every week end there with walking/trekking. "Col du Hundsrueck" is
the name of a mountain area, where the picture was taken.
