There are very few materials possession that I value more than the set of textiles that specially designed and woven for us for our wedding day by Carol Cassidy of Lao Textile, Vientiane, Laos. This design of my husband's shoulder cloth is of 2 elephants with the bride and groom riding each of them. The elephants are the symbol of my former country, Laos. Ms. Cassidy designed the plain white elephant is supposedly ride by my husband but he protests that it is unfair that I got the colorful one.
